Welcome to Lua Hadar’s Voyager Project 2016
The band and I have begun the new Voyager Project. Please stay with us as this develops.
As I continue my Voyage as a human, as a Buddhist, as an artist (I must make myself dare to use this word), as a musician (here, too), as an armchair anthropologist and student of history, as a friend, as a partner, as a teacher, and most of all as a singer, I am challenged to make meaning of what occurs in the world, filter it through my own lens, and sing it back. This is what I’m trying to do.
You notice I didn’t say “fledging songwriter;” but I’m trying to be that, too. I have a lot to say and I was born in the form to say it in song.
I also need to dare to say “writer” – my mother would be proud to hear me try that on. I’m grateful for the many responses I’ve received on my recent blog series Nomad Notes. I’m going to continue it.
I will keep you posted right on this page, and if you’d like to be on a mailing list, you can sign up HERE.
We are delighted to announce the release of our Concert Film, Like A Bridge, on iTunes and Google Play.
With this release, and a live concert at Michael Feinstein’s club at the Nikko Hotel in San Francisco to celebrate it, The Bridges Project concludes, and the new Voyager Project begins.
